Polystyrene Garage Door Insulation

Polystyrene insulation is often used in many aftermarket garage door insulation kits. Most kits rely on inserting rigid panels of polystyrene between steel layers. This can be a good way add some insulation but still leaves large gaps unprotected. Cloplay doors use foam injected polyurethane, so there are no gaps. This is much more energy efficient, offers a quieter operation and adds to the strength of the door. 

Polyurethane Garage Door Insulation

Clopay’s proprietary Intellicore® insulation technology uses polyurethane. Foam polyurethane is injected between the door’s steel layers, expanding to fill all of the nooks and crannies.
